"BLUE" JIMMY: OK, so I bin wantin' to write this blog since the story broke but since I ain't a news reporter but an investigative journalist, I was waiting for the "aftermath" so I could go off on the subject of the 2015 Clinton Correctional Facility Escape as it will be known in coming years and when the major motion picture comes to theaters near you!

"BLUE" JIMMY: As I sit here in the public library writing this, there is black plastic surveillance bubble right over my head. I have to cover my tablet at times to protect my passwords and other sensitive information. I have written before about the Big Brother, "Fahrenheit 451" and "Brave New World" aspects of our society. The other day, I read an article about an electronic device that allows police departments to see through the walls of your house and monitor your movements inside your home without a search warrant! Weak-minded people have told me, "well, if you're not doing anything wrong, you have nothing to worry about!"
BLIND DOG OZZY: Yeah, that's what the filthy f***king Nazis and Soviets used to tell their citizens before kicking down their doors and hauling their asses off to prison for "suspicious" behaviour -- Bastards!!!
"BLUE" JIMMY: And the Draconian Patriot Act, which you or I had no say in passing, allows violations of freedom not seen since the days of the Spanish Inquisition.
BLIND DOG OZZY: And don't even try to take a tube of Preparation H through airport security! And hey, I bet you enjoy some sweaty NSA worker putting their grimy hands down your child's pants!
"BLUE" JIMMY: So I want to know how a couple of barely educated, small-town, f**k ups and convicted murderers named Richard Matt and David Sweat, using Neanderthal tools and a little inside help were able to escape from a maximum security prison and evade capture for close to a month with literally hundreds of law enforcement personnel, with every high-tech resource, looking for them? Apparently, this real -life Thelma & Louise could have taken out The White House, The Pentagon and NORAD with a little more planning and elbow grease!
BLIND DOG OZZY: I can't even walk out of Walmart without showing the necessary documentation (sales receipt) -- how does this happen?
"BLUE" JIMMY: The point I'm trying to make is that since the enactment of the Patriot Act and all other post 911 hysteria, we are no safer or protected than before but living in a Big Brother society where all your freedoms are taken away "for your own good."
BLIND DOG OZZY: When you were in school, you thought it was bulls**t when the teacher would punish the whole class when one idiot was caught chewing gum! Why does the entire country have to be punished when a few psychotic assholes go off on a terror binge?
"BLUE" JIMMY: Now, as I'm in the middle of this blog, a breaking news story is that Mexican drug lord, Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman escaped from a "maximum security" prison in Mexico and is on the loose. This guy was one of the most watched criminals in the world!
BLIND DOG OZZY: Then he escapes through a mile-long tunnel in his shower -- and no one saw anything ... nice!!!
"BLUE" JIMMY: It doesn't matter when they catch him or how high they hang him, the fact is that all the electronic surveillance in the world couldn't stop one of the most wanted criminals on the planet from escaping. The truth is that Big Brother surveillance and invasions of our privacy are no match for diligent law enforcement and alert citizens when it comes to catching criminals.
BLIND DOG OZZY: And we don't have to have microscopes up our asses to do that!
"BLUE" JIMMY: It's been said before before but I'll say it again, a government that fears the actions and movements of its own people is no government at all and I don't need to be doing anything wrong to enjoy my right to privacy. Your ancestors, like mine, lived good, honest lives, worked hard, fought in World Wars and gave their lives for your freedom. You deserve better than a paranoid, suspicious government that monitors your every move -- you have earned it! Do you want government-installed surveillance inside your home? That could be next!
